Nearly every kitchen tap has a small nozzle screwed into its tip. It's called an aerator, and our filter simply takes its place. Most unscrew by hand in a few seconds.
If yours is stuck, wrap a towel around it and loosen it gently with a wrench. The towel keeps your tap from getting scratched.
Some taps hide the aerator up inside the spout instead. Don't worry, we've got those covered too: we include a tool for removing internal aerators, and our adapters screw in to take their place, so the filter fits these taps as well.
Threads differ too: some taps have them on the outside of the spout, some on the inside. Either way you're covered, the free adapters include both kinds.
