When disposing the refills separate the parts. The plastic can be recycled but the carbon block should be disposed with other waste as it accumulates contaminants inside.

Advanced Nanofiltration technology in 5 stages
Both EcoPro and EcoPro Compact operate with 5-stage Advanced nanofiltration technology
1- Polypropylene mesh
Wrapped around the carbon block, it filters out the largest micro-organisms, sediment, rust, scale and other impurities. It also prevents human hands contaminating the carbon block when replacing it.
2- Activated carbon adsorption
The activated carbon made from coconut shells removes organic chemical matter at nanoparticle level incl chlorine, chlorine byproducts (VOCs, THMs, HAAs, etc.), tastes, odours, pesticides, herbicides, PFAs and over 80 other contaminants. It also reduces the quantity of heavy metals like lead, copper and mercury, among others.
3- Carbon block microfiltering
The activated carbon made from coconut shells removes organic chemical matter at nanoparticle level incl chlorine, chlorine byproducts (VOCs, THMs, HAAs, etc.), tastes, odours, pesticides, herbicides, PFAs and over 80 other contaminants. It also reduces the quantity of heavy metals like lead, copper and mercury, among others.
4- Removes limescale and heavy metals
The carbon block houses our patented formula, the result of long years of research and of which we are extremely proud. It breaks down the mineral to prevent limescale forming, as well as trapping any remaining heavy metals.

To replace your filter, simply remove the casing, swap the cartridge, screw it back on, and you’re good to go!
