How does the PitcherPro Work?
PitcherPro uses 3-stage microfiltration technology with activated carbon and alkaline balls.
The activated carbon block, made from coconut shell, is capable of absorbing chemical, gaseous, metallic and organic elements thanks to its microscopic structure and its highly porous surface.
As the water passes through the filter, substances such as: lime, chlorine (responsible for the bad taste), microplastics, sand, rust and sediment, lead, mercury, salmonella, legionella, pesticides, herbicides, drug residues, nitrates and 80 Contaminants greater than 1-2 μm (microns) are retained in the spherical particles of activated carbon. The result is clean, filtered water, ready for consumption.

Materials: The materials we use for our filters reinforce our commitment to sustainability, quality, and durability:
A. The structure of the jug is made of borosilicate glass.
B. The lid is made of ABS and PC plastic, free of toxins such as BPA and phthalates, made from natural raw materials. We also use a piece of silicone to make sure that the parts of the jar are secure. This decomposes into amorphous silica, carbon dioxide, and water.
C. Straw to add air and improve water flow.
D. The replacement is composed of organic carbon fibres, which biodegrade into CO2 and water and UHMW (30%), are inert and stable, and do not accumulate in marine life. It also has a piece made of plastic free of toxins such as BPA and phthalates that cover the refill.
Replacement Frequency
It is recommended to put a new replacement every 3 months so as not to lose the efficiency of the filtering. Why?
The refill is made of carbon, a material of organic origin that can be a breeding ground for microorganisms, which over time can lead to the proliferation of bacteria. These bacteria accumulate behind the filter and contaminate the water.
In addition, the filtered lime will eventually reduce the flow rate of the water depending on the hardness of the source water.
The suitable water temperature is between 5-38º C

There's no doubt the filtering function of the the Water Filter Jug works well - it significantly improved the taste, but unfortunately the design is poor and price high. Water pours painfully slowly once the jug is 1/3 empty and I need to pour over the sink as it seems to drip on a weird and unpredictable angle. Design tip - it'd help to have a line makred on the jug indicating maximum capacity (this is really hard to gauge before you put the lid on).
Fantastic filter which makes the water taste so much better and super simple to use. The customer service is second to none! Only recommendation is if possible to have a silicone sleeve for the glass as it is quite fragile. And I do wish it would flow quicker but 100% worth it!

Water tastes good but it doesn’t pour properly
Great product only issue is it’s not always a good flow from the jug
Love the taste of the filtered water better that the one we have attached to tap which needs filters changed regularly and are quite expensive the more micron in filter
Only issue is with jug, takes a while to pour into glass even when air trap is expelled,
My husband is rather fussy about drinking water and has been blown away by the difference our TAPP WATER filter had made to our tap water. I went for the filter as it’s one of very few aesthetically pleasing options available. The fact that it has form AND function makes it an all-round winner in our household.
