Any pull-out style taps, typically are not compatible. Even with some adapters — they tend to leak so we advise against it.

How to install

60 seconds.
No tools. No plumber.

Screws onto your tap in place of the aerator. No tools, no plumber.

1
Remove the aerator
10 sec
Twist off the small cap at the end of your tap spout — that's the aerator. It just unscrews anticlockwise. Most come off by hand.
2
Attach the connector
20 sec
Choose the adapter that fits your tap thread and screw the filter's connector onto it. Settle the threads before turning to avoid cross-threading.
3
Flip and flush
30 sec
Switch the lever to filtered, run water for 30 seconds to activate the carbon block. First flow may look slightly grey — that's normal, it clears immediately.
What does it remove?

100+ contaminants.
All independently tested.

Every removal claim is backed by independent lab testing across four accredited laboratories — not manufacturer certifications. We publish the actual results so you can verify exactly what you're removing.

FAQs

Common questions.

Both remove 100+ contaminants including 93% of PFAS, 98% chlorine, and 99%+ microplastics — same filtration core, same lab results. The SMR adds a 6th stage — Swedish Mineral Rock™ — that restores calcium, magnesium, and potassium to your water after filtration. The Compact filters; the SMR filters and remineralises.
Every 3 months or 1,200 litres — whichever comes first. An exhausted filter still flows but stops removing contaminants, so replace on schedule. The Annual Pack includes 4 cartridges, covering a full year.
The EcoPro Chrome SMR™ comes with adapters covering 95% of Australian taps. If none fit, email us with a photo of your tap thread and we'll send the correct adapter free of charge within 1–2 days. Not compatible with pull-out spray taps, square/angular taps, or sensor taps.
The Swedish Mineral Rock™ adds calcium, magnesium, and potassium — essential minerals that support hydration, energy, and fluid balance. The result is water that tastes smoother and is enriched with trace minerals your body needs.
No — use the lever to switch to unfiltered mode for hot water. High temperatures damage the carbon block and mineral rock. The filter has a lever specifically so you can quickly switch between filtered (cold) and unfiltered (hot) water.
4 litres per minute — one of the fastest available for tap-mounted filters. The mineral rock stage adds no noticeable resistance to water flow.
Both include the same EcoPro Chrome SMR™ filter with Swedish Mineral Rock™ and adapters. The Starter Pack includes 1 cartridge — 3 months of filtered, mineral-rich water. The Annual Pack includes 4 cartridges — a full year with no reordering and free shipping.
Compare filters

Compact vs SMR — the key differences

Same filtration core, same chrome finish, same 60-second install. Here's where they split.

SMR adds minerals back

The SMR's 6th stage — Swedish Mineral Rock™ — adds calcium, magnesium, and potassium after filtration. The Compact delivers pure, clean water without minerals.

6-stage vs 5-stage filtration

Both share the same 5-stage core (93% PFAS, 98% chlorine, 70% fluoride). The SMR adds a 6th mineral enrichment stage.

3-month vs 2-month cartridge

SMR cartridges last 3 months / 1,200L — only 4 changes per year. Compact cartridges last 2 months / 220L — 6 changes per year.

Compact is smaller

The Compact (122 × 68 × 58mm) tucks away behind the tap — great for tight spaces. The SMR (90 × 100mm) is a larger chrome cylinder.

Water pressure

The Compact handles all pressure levels. The SMR performs best with higher water pressure — ideal for most kitchen taps.

$40 price difference

Compact starts at $109.99, SMR at $149.99. Annual refill cost is $159.99 vs $179.99 — about 5¢/day difference.

Both filters are chrome, both look great on any tap, and both install in 60 seconds with no tools.
