I love the simplicity and the look of this water filter! The water tastes great and Iโ€™m happy knowing that my family are drinking clean, contaminant free water. Great water filter - could smell and taste the difference immediately. Compact size means it is not in the way when using the sink. We have switched from a counter-top unit which was difficult to fit a glass under much less a cooking pot, so are delighted to have filtered water on tap. The TAPP filter & supplied adaptor didn't fit our tap, but they sent out an additional set of adaptors at no cost and one fit perfectly. We are very, very happy with our TAPP water filter.

How does the PitcherPro Work?

  • PitcherPro uses 3-stage microfiltration technology with activated carbon and alkaline balls.
  • The activated carbon block, made from coconut shell, is capable of absorbing chemical, gaseous, metallic and organic elements thanks to its microscopic structure and its highly porous surface.
  • As the water passes through the filter, substances such as: lime, chlorine (responsible for the bad taste), microplastics, sand, rust and sediment, lead, mercury, salmonella, legionella, pesticides, herbicides, drug residues, nitrates and 80 Contaminants greater than 1-2 ฮผm (microns) are retained in the spherical particles of activated carbon.ย The result is clean, filtered water, ready for consumption.

  • A. The structure of the jug is made of borosilicate glass.
    B.ย  The lid is made of ABS and PC plastic, free of toxins such as BPA and phthalates, made from natural raw materials.ย We also use a piece of silicone to make sure that the parts of the jar are secure.ย This decomposes into amorphous silica, carbon dioxide, and water.

Love the design and materials, but pour very slow

I really love this product! It is the only water filter jug I came across that is small enough to fit in the door of a small fridge like mine. The quality of materials and the professionalism of packaging and customer services is top notch. However I agree with other reviewers that the pour speed is very slow - and awkward. If you have weak arm strength or fine motor skills it will be tricky to pour this, as the water is pushed through the filter by gravity, so you almost have to get the jug completely upside down to pour it easily and quickly. Such a shame. I would love this even more if the shape of the jug remained but if you could filter from the top upon filling rather than relying on the pour to filter.

Our refills are super easy to replace. Simply remove the casing, swap our the cartridge, screw it back in and you're done!

Will it fit in my fridge door?

The standard size of a refrigerator door depth in Australia is around 110mm, but it can range from 100-120mm.ย PitcherPro measures approximately 108 x 112mm.ย The standard Brita is 110mm wide.

How do I replace the filter?

Remove the cap and unscrew the refill from the top.ย Put in a new refill and screw it back into place.ย Fill the jug with water and run water through the filter before using it for the first time.
