Terrific product!

I love the simplicity and the look of this water filter! The water tastes great and I’m happy knowing that my family are drinking clean, contaminant free water. Customer service has been great as well, initially I had issues attaching the filter to my tap but customer support sent me numerous washers until we found the perfect fit! Refills have been sent promptly with orders always shipped the same day I ordered.

Great water filter - could smell and taste the difference immediately. Compact size means it is not in the way when using the sink. We have switched from a counter-top unit which was difficult to fit a glass under much less a cooking pot, so are delighted to have filtered water on tap. The TAPP filter & supplied adaptor didn't fit our tap, but they sent out an additional set of adaptors at no cost and one fit perfectly. We are very, very happy with our TAPP water filter.

We have recently received our order from TAPP WATER, and are very pleased with it. The water tasted better straight away and I now drink more water than before. The only (minor) complaint would be that the water splashes everywhere when the filter is turned on, so we just have to be a bit more careful, butt overall we love it.

How does the EcoPro Improve the taste of tap water?

There are several causes of the bad taste of tap water. Water hardness, the concentrated amount of dissolved minerals such as calcium or magnesium, is one of them. The higher the concentration of these elements, the higher the hardness.

Chlorine also directly affects the poor taste of the water from our taps. Other causes may be excess calcium or potassium in the water.

Our filters eliminate these substances, so the water from your tap will be clean, transparent, and taste great.

How do I know if the EcoPro is compatible with my tap?

Our filter is compatible with standard thread taps. 

The thread of our filter is F22, the most common size. We also include an M24 Adapter, the second most common size.

If you're unsure if your tap is compatible, send our team a message with a photo of your tap, and we can let you know if you need an adapter.

Why do I need to change the filter every three months?

The refill is made of carbon, a material of organic origin that can be a breeding ground for microorganisms, which over time, can give rise to the proliferation of bacteria. These bacteria accumulate behind the filter and can contaminate the water.
It is a typical situation with activated carbon filters, regardless of how many of you are in the house or whether the filter has not been used for a while.

Can I filter hot and cold water?

It is not recommended to use the filter with hot water. The materials that cover the replacement cartridge are not resistant to high temperatures, which may cause the cartridge to melt. If you need hot water, you can get it by turning the lever and using the unfiltered water.

Why is the EcoPro made of plastic?

After studying different materials and solutions, the plastic we use has been the winning solution in terms of durability (and, therefore, sustainability). At TAPP Water, sustainability is at the core of everything we do. In this sense, beyond the plastic bottles that are avoided with our filters, we are constantly evolving and asking ourselves questions about materials, transportation, and, ultimately, how to make our value chain have a better impact on the environment. Planet. In this sense, we still have a long way to go and challenges to face. But we are incredibly proud of: The materials we use to build the product's base (the filter itself), which are durable, highly recyclable, BPA-free, and phthalate-free. The materials we use to develop the consumable part of the product (spare parts) are primarily of natural origin and biodegradable. However, they are not treated as such in the composting plants. The activated carbon block, through which the water passes to be filtered, is made from coconut shells. This way, your water comes into contact with natural and organic material. Why don't we use stainless steel? At the moment, our goal is to create a solution that, in addition to being sustainable and comfortable, is affordable. A solution that allows households to save compared to buying bottled water. Making the filter in stainless steel would mean creating a solution that a few could afford, and at TAPP, we want to be accessible to everyone and reach as many households as possible to have a real impact.

Yes, the EcoPro removes all the microplastics found so far in tap water thanks to the carbon block that is 1-2 microns in size.
