I now drink so much water per day and my skin is looking fabulous. For years, I drank Brita filtered water and boiled water until I realised that none of that gets rid of fluoride or chlorine. With Tappwater, it filters up to 80% of fluoride and chlorine. The water is so tasty like store bought springwater. You can really taste the difference between unfiltered tap water and the Tappwater filtered water, just amazing. I spent months agonising over filters for our house. I wanted a bath filter specific for the kids as one suffers eczema. LEAKS

How does the PitcherPro Work?

  • PitcherPro uses 3-stage microfiltration technology with activated carbon and alkaline balls.
  • The activated carbon block, made from coconut shell, is capable of absorbing chemical, gaseous, metallic and organic elements thanks to its microscopic structure and its highly porous surface.
  • As the water passes through the filter, substances such as: lime, chlorine (responsible for the bad taste), microplastics, sand, rust and sediment, lead, mercury, salmonella, legionella, pesticides, herbicides, drug residues, nitrates and 80 Contaminants greater than 1-2 μm (microns) are retained in the spherical particles of activated carbon. The result is clean, filtered water, ready for consumption.

Materials: The materials we use for our filters reinforce our commitment to sustainability, quality, and durability:

  • A. The structure of the jug is made of borosilicate glass.
    B.  The lid is made of ABS and PC plastic, free of toxins such as BPA and phthalates, made from natural raw materials. We also use a piece of silicone to make sure that the parts of the jar are secure. This decomposes into amorphous silica, carbon dioxide, and water.
    C. Straw to add air and improve water flow.
    D. The replacement is composed of organic carbon fibres, which biodegrade into CO2 and water and UHMW (30%), are inert and stable, and do not accumulate in marine life. It also has a piece made of plastic free of toxins such as BPA and phthalates that cover the refill.

  •  Water pouring flow: 0.8-2.0 L / min thanks to the tube-shaped air channel for faster pouring.

Replacement Frequency

  • The refill is made of carbon, a material of organic origin that can be a breeding ground for microorganisms, which over time can lead to the proliferation of bacteria. These bacteria accumulate behind the filter and contaminate the water.
  • In addition, the filtered lime will eventually reduce the flow rate of the water depending on the hardness of the source water.
  • The suitable water temperature is between 5-38º C

Our refills are super easy to replace. Simply remove the casing, swap our the cartridge, screw it back in and you're done!

What does "instant pour" mean?

By filling the jug with tap water, you will have the water ready to drink thanks to the tube-shaped air channel for better filtration without waiting. Filter right away while you pour yourself a glass of water!

Will it fit in my fridge door?

The standard size of a refrigerator door depth in Australia is around 110mm, but it can range from 100-120mm. PitcherPro measures approximately 108 x 112mm. The standard Brita is 110mm wide.

How do I replace the filter?

Remove the cap and unscrew the refill from the top. Put in a new refill and screw it back into place. Fill the jug with water and run water through the filter before using it for the first time.
